The '70s brought hard rock and acid rock to the forefront. The rock concert became an opera like presentation with flashy lighting, costumes and
many, many smashed guitars. By the mid '70s people were getting back to touch dancing with a new dance craze the Hustle which came with its own
music Disco. The new dance phenomenon reached its peak with John Travolta in his 3 piece white suit in Saturday Night Fever with the music
of the Bee Gees. Of course, who could forget that the 70s also brought us the advent of 'schlock' err I mean 'soft rock.' |
