'N Sync Biography: Like the Backstreet Boys the group originated in Orlando, FL. The group actually can trace its roots back to the days of The New Mickey Mouse Club where Justin Timberlake met and
worked with JC Chasez. After the show was cancelled they both moved to Nashville, TN where they worked on solo projects with the same vocal coach. When Timberlake returned to Orlando he joined with
Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone and formed a band along with Chasez. They then added bass Lance Bass. The group recorded its self titled first album which beame a huge success throughout most of Europe
including the hit singles "I Want You Back" and "Tearing Up My Heart." When it was released in the U.S. in 1998 it became an American hit as well. Their second effort No Strings Attached broke sales records.
