Willard Leroy Metcalf Biography: He started his career as an engraver. He worked as an illustrator from 1881 to 1896. He went to Paris to further his education. He was one of the founders of The Ten American Painters. In 1899 he did 2 murals for the Appellate Courthouse in New York. He died in New York.
Died: 1925
