Jessica Simpson Biography: She was raised in Dallas. At age 12 she auditioned unsuccessfully for the Mickey Mouse Club. She experienced her first
success as a singer on the Christian Youth Conference circuit. Seeking to expand her market appeal she signed a record deal with Sony Music and
toured in support of the boy band 98 degrees. In 1999 she made her recording debut with "Sweet Kisses" including the single "I Wanna Love You Forever."
The following year she married her longtime boyfriend Nick Lachey of 98 degrees. The couple has since separated.
